An update on the direction of Child Safety in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

We'd like to update you on progress we've been making as we deepen our commitment to protecting and nurturing the children in our fellowship.

We've established a Code of Conduct that has received approval from ChildSafe Australia.

Every worker in SA now holds a valid Working With Children Check and has successfully completed MinistrySafe child safety training, including an assessment to confirm their understanding. To ensure everyone's knowledge remains current and relevant, this training is refreshed every two years.

Following the guidance provided by the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, and with the valuable input from our advisory group, we've been taking meaningful action to build an environment where safety and accountability are at the heart of everything we do.

We're partnering with an independent external organization to develop and finalize a transparent, consistent framework for responding to any allegations. This process prioritizes accountability, clarity, and compassionate care for everyone involved.

We continue this important journey together, creating a fellowship where every child is safe, valued, and protected.
