Welcome to the NZ Child Safety resource and information site. We encourage everyone to read and be familiar with the information provided here.

Our Child Safe Policy, Code of Conduct and Reporting Procedure have been externally reviewed and assurances provided that they are comprehensive and reflect best practice. We also have a designated team responsible for Child Safety and you can learn more about their role here. They will respond to any notification of child safety issues or concerns.

All NZ workers have signed the updated Code of Conduct and completed Ministry Safe child safety training, which includes an assessment to ensure course content was understood. Police checks have also been completed for all NZ Workers.

While no policy can remove all risk, these documents demonstrate our commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for children. Our allegation management policy work is ongoing, and will be developed further.
